them golden arches

In Andrew Braaksma essay "Some lessons from the Assembly line,"tell the story and lesson Braaksma got from work in a factory between semesters. In the essay "Some Lessons From the Assembly Line" Braaksma work at a factory between semesters. The work was back breaking work and it gave him a better appreciation about school and how lucky he is to even have the opportunity.
I understan where Braaksma is coming from because I used to work at a fast food restaurant.

Before attending the Art Institute I work as a crew member at Mcdonalds. In the beginning the work was easy and in truth the work never really got to physically demanding. The real strain was mental. It just seem like as a crew you could never do anything right. The customers is always right even when there are wrong. And when the restaurant did well only the manager was rewarded even though the crew was the person that was the one who clean the dirty diaper off the bathroom wall.Because of the experience I never want to be on the bottom in business world now what I do in the end I want to be the boss.

  1. Dennis, You did a good job at answering the prompt. I love the experience. You could have used some more details, but overall you did a great job. I can totally relate to your experience, because thats exactly how it was when I worked at Wendy's. Customers would always be rude and disrespectful. I hated my job!
