darkness

In the article “darkness at noon” Harold Krents tell the story how people treated him differently because of his blindness. His purpose in writing his article was tell people that just because you might be disable in one aspect of your life doesn’t mean your disable in others.People frequently assume just because your disable that your also incapable. I agree with the point krent was making.I can relate to his point because when I was younger my family owned a care home with mentally disable clients.

On my visits to the care home there was a client there name Robert who they said had the ming of a child.
He talked funny walked funny and could tie his shoe on his own.
So knowing about his disabilities I could believe that he could read.
Every morning he would ask or a news paper.I was hard to believe that he could read let alone comprehend what he just had read.He would routinely tell us score of games and just news stories in general. Looking at Robert you would assume that reading would be impossible for some one of his mental disabilities. Just because some one is because some one is disabled doesn’t mean they’re in capable.

  1. I think you did really great on answering the prompt in your first paragraph. It was very clear and straight to the point. You used good words and had great personal experiences to show the reader you could understand where Krents was coming from. The only criticism I have is that you should proof read you writing. There were some misspelled words that didn’t make since while reading about Roberts story. Other then that I liked your blog and I think you did a good job.

  2. Dennis,
You did a great job answering the prompt. It was very clear and understandable. The only thing I would have to say is that you should proofread your blog. There are some misspelled words and incomplete sentences. You did a good job this week.
